Some of you may know of the obscene number of bows that I have for Little Miss. They might number in the hundreds. And I have all kinds, from flowers to hand-tied, fabric headbands to alligator clips. Most are proudly on display. You would think that for all those bows, I would’ve paid several hundred dollars. You would be wrong!
Maybe you’ve seen her cute rompers or the adorable moccasins that Little Mister used to wear when he was first learning how to walk. I’ve seen similar moccasins sold for $50 or more! Let me tell you, I was not about to spend that much money on shoes that my child was only going to wear for a few months.
Not to mention the incredibly comfortable clothes that I have bought for myself. I have this one maroon shirt that has adorable buttons down the side. I wear it probably far more than I should.
So when we get right down to it, I have an addiction. An addiction to Jane.com.
There is just something to be said about going out to the mailbox and knowing that you’ve received a package that is something unique and adorable and totally affordable. So many of the items that I’ve bought from Jane.com would be two or three times the price from a little boutique. If we’re being honest, I would never be able to afford them. But from Jane.com, I’m able to purchase items that aren’t from the big box stores but also aren’t at boutique prices.
One of my favorite parts about Jane.com is that I’ve been able to help out small businesses around the United States. So many times I have opened up the package I’ve ordered and a sweet thank you card has fallen out and into my hands. These are stores that I probably would have never found on my own, but because they sell their items through Jane.com, I’m able to find them and help support them.
So let me share with you three of my favorite items from Jane.com, things that I continually recommend to my friends and family.
Rubber-Soled Moccasins
These shoes are amazing. I’m in love with the regular moccasins that are often listed on Jane.com, but these are perfect for your early-walkers. They have the rubber sole that will protect their feet and provide a little more stability, but also are perfectly flexible as they try to learn to walk. The leather is durable and keeps up so well when kiddos are so hard on shoes, and they stay on when many shoes at this stage do not. I know we personally have several pairs of these.
Ruffle Baby Rompers
Okay. I’m going to admit it. There is a polar vortex in the north, it’s in the 30’s and 40’s down here, and all I can think about is how cute Little Miss would look in these rompers come spring and summer. That’s totally normal, right? Quite honestly, I don’t care. These are from a store called Little Adam & Eve. I’ve bought several things from them and every time, the quality is impeccable and the items are adorable. Excuse me while I go purchase one in every color.
Kids Character Tees
In case you didn’t know, it’s a thing to wear catchy Disney tees on trips to Disney World, Disneyland, and on Disney cruises. If you are planning a Disney trip anytime soon, check out these adorable tees. We bought several for Little Mister for our trip to Disney World last year and they were commented on every time he wore them. He still will wear these shirts! The sayings are catchy and unique. Up is one of my favorite movies. I really wish they had that one in an adult size…
Striped Zipper Hoodie
I see y’all up there in the north getting the polar vortex. Us down here in Dallas aren’t quite so cold, but we are supposedly getting snow in a few weeks. I’m not going to hold my breath, but I guess you never know. Regardless, I saw these striped zipper hoodies on Jane.com and fell in love. I already have several cardigans and a vest that I purchased last fall and have kept me warm, but I really love how snuggly this hoodie looks. From the photo it just looks like the kind you could curl up in. Not to mention how stylish that zipper looks!
These are just a couple of my favorite current finds from Jane.com. Items are always rotating and some will come back (like the rompers and moccasins), but you never know what cute things you might find. Do yourself a favor and go check them out!
